No Misinformation

The first value we list under our People section is 'Trust', the second value is 'Authenticity', and the third is 'Respect'. We can only command these values from others if we deliver them to you.

For every statement or fact we list on our website, we must, where possible, have 3rd party proof; or where they are assumptions, we must have those assumptions peer reviewed. Where the facts change, so must our text, where assumptions are updated, we must too.

This is a long page, but it's important to us. So here goes...

p.s. - One last point, we try not to repeat facts on this page (it's already long enough), so if you notice a fact on one page that's not listed, check pages further up the list to see if it's noted there. Any mistakes? Contact Us

VideoText & Narration

This is our TV advert. It was cleared by ClearCast on 23rd November 2020. It does not contain facts, but vision points which is related to our About Us page.

This video is a vision piece about the power of Clean Planet. It outlines facts and statements which are generated from our ecoPlant page.

This video looks at the negative impact waste-plastic is having on our environment, including our oceans. It also outlines the scale of plastic production. It draws its statements from our Chapter 2 - Clean Oceans page.

We say: That’s more plastic, than the weight of every aircraft in existence, entering our ocean, every year. And it’s growing.

Evidence: The Telegraph (UK) - also reported without paywall - reports there are 39,000 planes in existence. If we assume an average of 60% of a Boing 747 (as many private planes will be much smaller), that's 39,000 * 199 = 7.75M

This video looks at the negative impact of carbon emissions on our world, including the scale of emissions from transport. It draws its statements from our Chapter 3 - Clean Air page.

This video looks at the comparison between fossil fuels and Clean Planet Fuel. It draws its statements from our peer reviewed work listed on our Chapter 3 - Clean Air page.

This video gives a top-level overview as to the process of how are ecoPlant creates ultra-clean fuel from waste-plastic. It draws its statements from our peer reviewed work listed on our Chapter 3 - Clean Air page, and also the ecoPlants page.

Clean Planet Energy launched on Tuesday 16th February 2021. Clean Planet Air is the name given to sustainable fuels - It draws its statements from our peer reviewed work listed on our Chapter 3 - Clean Air page and our Sustainability page.

Clean Planet Energy's Kerosene/Jet Fuel belongs to the family of Sustainable Alternative Jet Fuels (SAJF), drop-in fuels that are intended to lower the net life-cycle carbon emissions of commercial aviation. Whilst Clean Planet remains flexible on its pathway based on our offtakers need, the current CPE pathway within the ASTM D7566 is similar to a combination of Annex A6 "Catalytic Hydrothermolysis Synthesized Kerosene" (CPE pathway involves the thermochemical conversion of waste plastics into synthetic pyrolysis oils), and Annex A2 "Hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids to synthetic paraffinic kerosene" (the CPE pathway involves the hydroprocessing of the thermochemically converted pyrolysis oils into paraffinic kerosene). In the US, relevant federal agencies including the DOE, DOT, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and USDA among others, are supporting the continued development of large-scale production of economically viable SAJF using low-cost feedstocks and associated systems. CPE are very excited to have developed a SAFJ pathway that not only fits well within the ASTM D7566 existing definitions, but uses ultra-low cost zero-value waste plastic feedstock. Certificate of Analysis of the CPE SAJF has been obtained from reputable international fuels testing facitltiies, including SGS.

"How can I make a difference?"
We simply can't beat these crises alone.
The question above is the most common we receive from you at home. That's why we created the Clean Planet Collective, for adults, and the Clean Planet Club for kids.
